Outside Resources

National Novel Writing Month, also known as NaNoWriMo, is a national contest to write a 50,000 word rough draft of a novel in November every year. The organization provides support to writers trying the challenge. For those more interested in academic writing, there is another community called AcWriMo that is held at the same time that focuses on academic writing!

Many writers use skills that can be cultivated and enhanced from playing games. We suggest a trip to the games section on the second floor for skill practice and inspiration from games like Dungeons & Dragons, Vers: the rap game, Ten Candles, Nerd Words: Science, Quickword, and many more!
