Sarah Wolk FitzGerald is an Assistant Professor in the Department of History at Valdosta State University. She received her PhD in History from the University of California, Riverside. Her work focuses on public history, women's history, African American history, popular culture and the Civil Rights Movement. She has served as Historical Curator of the Rancho Los Cerritos Historic Site in Long Beach, California.
