Research Appointments

 

Research appointments offer dedicated, one-on-one time with a reference librarian, free of distraction. If working as a group on a research project, librarians can meet with several students at once!

Live Chat

 

Chat is available during the library's reference hours and is staffed by real librarians (not chatbots!). This service is an excellent option for getting quick help with finding and accessing sources, formatting citations, and any other questions related to research or the library. 

 

Research Guides

 

Research guides are created by librarians and designed to help you with the research process and provide curated sources on specific topics. The Research Help guide contains a list of guides that can help you with various aspects of your research.

 

Academic Support Center

 

The Academic Support Center (ASC) provides free tutoring online and in person to VSU students. If you need help brainstorming ideas, organizing or editing your paper, or if you want feedback on your work, make an appointment with the ASC!
