The Discover Tab searches most of the library's databases and the GIL-Find catalog.
The Discover search is a great place to start your library research. You will likely receive a lot of results when you search using Discover because you will be searching all of the online databases included in Galileo as well as the library catalog which contains the books, eBooks, films, and more items located in the library building.

Search GIL-Find@VSU to find materials available in Odum Library
GIL-Find@VSU is the library's online catalog. This catalog is made up of descriptive records of all the materials available at Odum Library. These materials include books, videos, musical scores, government documents, print journals, and other items. Each GIL-Find record represents one item and provides detailed information about the record, such as the author, title, subject headings, and the call number for the item. GIL-Find is available online and no password is needed to search Odum Library’s catalog.

- USA.govSearch government web sites, including federal, state, and some local, and organizes links to various government services and information. Described as "the U.S. Government's official web portal."
- GovInfoGovinfo.gov provides free online access to official federal government publications and provides links to the U.S. Code, legislative material including hearings, the Congressional Record, and executive branch materials such as the Federal Register and Code of Federal Regulations.
- Catalog of Government Publications (CGP)Finding tool for federal executive, legislative, and judicial government publications, both print and electronic.
- Data.govOpen source government sources of data on a wide range of subjects, including climate, local government, finance, and science and technology.
- Congress.govCongress.gov has bill text, summary, and status for past and current legislation, 1973-present. Use the Advanced Search to limit your search to a particular session of Congress or to find legislation that has already passed.
- A-Z List of Federal AgenciesFederal agencies enact the policies enacted by legislation, so their web sites are useful resources for policy information.
- MetalibSearch multiple federal agency databases for digital publications.
- Federal Depository Library ProgramInformation about the Federal Depository Library Program (FDLP), which provides U.S. government publications to Odum Library, which receives 58% of materials available through the program.
