Publishing
HIST 6216/MLIS 7998 -- Do NOT publish your guide until it has been approved by Dr. Fitzgerald. Make sure you set the status to Private when you publish.
When ready to publish, click the "Unpublished" button at the top right of the guide and select "Change Status and Share."
From there, select if you want your guide to be private or public, and click on the save icon beside the drop-down menu.
Private guides can only be accessed with a direct link, while public guides are displayed on the main LibGuide site.
(Note: Private guides are not searchable and the search bar within the guide will not work)
Guide Content Sharing allows other LibGuide Users to use the content of your guide. You can choose if you want to allow your content to be reused by others. The default is set to Community, but some librarians chose to keep their guides internal (to be used only by other VSU LibGuide users).
