CINAHL Plus with Full Text (EBSCO)

Search tips for finding guidelines in CINAHL Plus with Full Text. 

  • Use the Advanced Search page.
  • Enter your subject terms or keywords.
  • Under Publication Type, select Practice Guidelines.
  • Select other options if need (date range, etc.).
  • Click Search.

If you know the name of a guidelines you can a title search instead of a keyword search. 

MEDLINE with Full Text (EBSCO)

  • Use the Advanced Search page.
  • Enter your subject terms or keywords.
  • Under Publication Type, select Practice Guidelines.
  • Select other options if need (date range, etc.).
  • Click Search.

DynaMed Plus (EBSCO)

  • Search for your topic. 
  • Select the appropriate entry from the search results.
  • Select "Guidelines and Resources" from the left menu. 
    • Not every entry will include guidelines.

 

PubMed

Search tips for finding guidelines in PubMed.

  • Enter your subject terms or keywords.
  • Select Search.
  • On the Results page, select Additional Filters in the left menu. 
  • Select Article Type, check the box beside Guideline, click on Show.
  • Guideline is now an option you can select in the left menu. Select Guideline to limit your search results to Guidelines..
