About Embedded Librarians

An embedded librarian is someone dedicated to helping your class specifically. They are aware of your assignments and what is being taught in the course so that they can better help you.

Embedded librarians can help in a variety of ways, including

  • helping you understand course-specific or discipline-specific research.
  • providing answers to your research questions in a dedicated Q&A space.
  • meeting with you one-on-one for research help should you need it (this can be through email, phone, video conferencing, or in person).
  • helping you locate and evaluate sources for your topic.
  • .... and more!
