Purpose of Renovation

Odum Library 2nd Floor Renovation Target Completion Date: January 2019 Academic Support Center More Study Rooms Upgraded Study Space

Beginning July 5th, 2018, construction began in Odum Library to transform a portion of the second floor. 

Once complete, students, faculty, and staff should expect to see the new location of the Academic Support Center, additional study rooms, and an upgraded, modernized study space.

Expected to last until January 2019, the renovations to the 2nd floor of Odum Library have resulted in the following changes: 

 

  • Closure of the 2nd Floor Odum Library North Entrance (Pedestrian Walkway). 
    • The doorway closest to the Student Union is unavailable to use as an entrance or exit.

 

  • To enter Odum Library, please use the South Entrance (closest to Fine Arts and pictured above). 

Due to the renovation, the following service points have relocated: 

 

IT Help Desk 

 

The IT Help Desk moved from the 2nd Floor North Side to the former copier room on the 1st Floor. 

 

 

 

Circulation Desk/Reserves Desk

 

The Circulation/Reserves Desk moved from the 2nd Floor North Side to the 1st Floor South Side Atrium.
